If I were GM it would be very hard to say no to that trade, but the Kings are not giving all that up even for someone like Matthews.

I’d take out Bjornfot then.
This trade wouldn’t happen because I think the kings are on the right track to be a team like COL

This is what it looks like for the LA side of the other trade a guy did with TOR.

I’d replace Turcotte with Byfield but that’s a pipe dream. For Mathews kings definitely have to give up Byfield

Yeah you need those “mean” mentality from the defense. In 2012 kings had a young Doughty but they also had Greene Mitchell. Along with scuderi. I saw no toughness from the D. Or any leaf for that matter.

Debatable, Eichel was injured all year so hard to make that call but they were dead even last year

He probably would, LA guts their future to still not be a cup contender makes it kinda meaningless to go for him. Toronto and Edmonton have once again proven why regular season scoring doesn't mean anything in the playoffs
