Description

Thinking maybe Seth wants to be the "star" in a market. What better market than Seattle. Trade him for their top 5 pick 1 for 1, predicated that he is signed. The Jackets could then use that pick to get Eichel and use their own 1st to possibly get Power or Beniers.

I really don’t want Eichel, and I think Jones is set on testing FA, so don’t think an extension would come packaged with the trade.

just a thought.You are right it seems every other year the Jackets get gutted or torn down. But they always put out a compettive hard working team reguardless thats a good sign of things to come.a canucks fan.

What else are you adding to that Eichel trade? You’re not really that close yet. I’m pretty confident Korpisalo could be had for one of those extra third round picks buffalo acquired at the trade deadline.

I wouldn’t give up that much for eichel. He’s broken and hasn’t proven to make any sort of difference for Buffalo his value is no where remotely close to the trades people post on this site. Top 5 pick better served making the selection at the draft then adding a massive salary and term to the team without any indication when and if he will be healthy enough to play next season.

At least Jones let you know he's going to walk and your team can prepare for it. Unlike a certain douche in this league who left it until a few hours before the deadline to let his team know.
