    Nylander is definitely going somewhere. The core 4 will be blown up if the Leafs lose and Nylander is the only one of them with a contract that can be moved. People are going to argue it should be Marner but he would be the highest AAV ever traded in the NHL at the worst time to ever try and trade it, a flat cap. Its not going to happen.

    no where near the same effect on the ice and the eye test shows that. Haven't looked into the analytics but they probably do too. Kane also did it at half the cap hit. You can't build a team the way Toronto has is kinda the point of all of this anyways

    and being paid close to twice the cap hit at the same stage in their career hence why hes unmoveable.

    I don’t think this makes sense for the Hawks tbh. And maybe not for Toronto from a salary cap perspective.
