Maybe, but there is a lot of “ifs” in that. Unless you are getting one of these “change of scenery” guys for pennies on the dollar (I think Turris, for example, fits this) I’m not sold on the investment.

I mean, you’re not wrong, but (1) Somebody is going to over-pay, not like they can only trade with MTL; (2) Drouin being a cap-dump is not irrelevant, because it would be a very different trade if he weren’t; and, (3) For purposes of this ACGM, he signed an extension 👆
