I don’t think that gets it done. Lindholm is great and there’s nothing great in that package going the other way. Just kinda junk. Rather just pay an extra mil and sign Coleman over Martinook.

Is Kravtsov really frowned upon as a legitimate NHL Forward? Perhaps I think too highly of him. Whenever I include him in a package, I consider him a solid Top 6 Forward in the future. Yet I hear mixed results regarding him.

Honestly it’s a mixed bag. I think he could be solid but until I see more out of him my expectations are tempered. Same with Kakko, Chytil,, Miller and Laf. Flashes have been shown but we need to see consistency. Until then if I was another team I wouldn’t trade out very good players for guys that are complete maybes in terms of succeeding. I think we know what we’ve got in Lindgren, a solid top 4 defensive defenseman, Fox a potential high end offensive defenseman (need another year or 2 out of him to solidify this) and Shesty a very solid starter (need to see more out of him to see if he can be elite or not).

That is a huge offer. I cannot see how Flames decline. Could even take out Jones, Gauthier or the pick and it is still good.

As a Ranger fan I think we may overrate Kravstov. I also think other teams fans don't get how good Jones might be.
