In order for florida to get eichel theyll need to give up a lot and it might end up hurting the team more than benefit it. I would trade futures for reinhart instead. if you're in more of a "win now" mode.

I agree it might not be enough (although it's close - Lundell rocks), but the idea that it STARTS with Knight or Huberdeau is absurd. People don't understand that Eichel's value won't be the same as it would've been a season or two ago. Right now I'm not even sure I would trade Huberdeau for Eichel straight up: one of them is a consistent 80+ point scorer who could regularly score over 90, who doesn't have injury issues, and who has helped his team actually win games - he might be the most underappreciated player in the NHL. And Knight might be the best goalie prospect in the league.

How to lose Barkov to free agency.

That's not remotely close for Jack Eichel slick, And if you get Eichel you can kiss Barkov goodbye. Florida can't afford both.
