Your hockey knowledge consists of looking at hockeydb and listening to sportsnet. Not a surprise you don’t know anything about both of these players
If you mean by both of these players as in Morrissey and pionk, well I do know both of them pretty well as can say with confidence that I’ve watched every single game of theirs played in a jets jersey (save for few here and there). If you mean coyle and Moore, then I don’t know where I said anything about those players. I merely said Morrissey is a top pairing guy and the contract you call “bad” isn’t bad to the jets, which is all that matters. As for morrissey’s performance, the guy has been saddled with poolman all season, amid a down year for him personally. I’m not clearing him of blame but it’s hard to play in a shutdown role (against the other teams best) with poolman beside you. Just saying.
Also, sportsnet barely covers the jets for your information. As for me getting my info from them, I don’t. I go off what I see. Morrissey has had a rough year but 1) his performance in these playoffs so far prove he’s worth his contract. 2) his previous track record of continued success trumps his down year season. He will be fine, and we don’t need terrible trade offers for him. Moore is a cap dump and anyone who says otherwise is uninformed. The bruins tried to trade him last year but found no takers. I think that’s proof enough. As for coyle, his contract isn’t terrible but he’s not valuable to the jets.
Before calling out me and literally every other person above me for disagreeing with you, maybe pay attention to what they are saying. No offence, but these trade offers are brutal for the jets and they will never do either.
