At this point, I think the Wild will end up buying out Parise unless somebody wants to take him without a sweetener.

Parise again? really? I thought these rumors died in a fire. Ladd's gone in two years and Hickeys contract expires at the end of next season, Parises deal is 4 years he'll be 41 when that deal ends. So basically you're trading away a short term problem for a long term problem. With any luck at all Ladd retires instead.

I could be wrong but i dont think you can buy out someone with an nmc unless they agree.

I think it’s apparent both sides want to move on, but the NMC only controls where he can be assigned to. Buyouts are always possible.
