I don't mind that cap hit for Nuge if the term is 4 years. If you get into a 7-8 year contract you'd look at an AAV around 6. That said he doesn't play a super physical game so he'll likely be effective into his mid 30s. The Larsson deal is a big overpay, he'll sign closer to 4. Reimer will want more than $1mil. Likely no Klefbom next year so would need to address that.

We not remotely interested in Jones, the picks would certainly have to be of considerable value for us to be trade partners.

Stromes value is surely not high and I'm guessing a trade of scenery trade is likely coming. What do you see as a possibility?

Stomes trade value is likely at one of the lowest points since he's been with us. We have congestion down the centre and He either gets packaged up or yes a change of scenery where 2 players of similar value need a change or if not of similar value picks to help even it up.

In saying that, if we can't get a fair trade then I have no issues keeping him and playing him. I like his offence, he needs to continue to improve his skating and D.
