Lol xgf% are equal. Unless you don’t understand what that means? Both players are identical. Thanks for playing ?Defense isn’t about points but when players have similar defensive skill sets I use points to tie break. Yeah penguins are fast and mobile and have won 3 playoffs games in 3 years lol. Teams are looking at add grit bud. Your GM said that’s what they are looking to add. If Dillon is a 3LD so is Pettersson. Ignore the facts but you claim DILLON is average but you made threads trading for him. Your a living contradiction.
Offense - Dillon by a mile
Defense - Equal
Possession- Pettersson
You might be too bias to have a reasonable opinion about this.
you're over here talking about xgf in a season that's over and calling me bias.
Seasons over dude, he coughed up 150% more ACTUAL goals. That isn't equal and clearly between the two of us, failure to accept that shows the real bias and inability to have a reasonable opinion about this.
You don't see me here trying to explain away the numbers. Only you are doing that. I completely admit Dillon got more points. But really, it doesn't make up for bleeding 150% more goals. Not even close.
Which is why one is a 3LD and the other isn't. Because MP was used in a way that allowed him to be used anywhere on the ice.
But Dillon clearly can't skate and was asked to do way to much in WSH. Which is why he bled goals and almost every WSH acgm has him out the door with comments like anywhere.....
Yes I traded for him, as a 3LD. I also put MP as a 2LD.
There is no contradiction there.
One can skate, one can't. The one that can't, needs to have a more defined role than the one that can. It's really that simple.
I clearly admit DIllon is capable of turning it around.......like Ceci did. In a defined role, that plays to his skill set, and limits his exposer to things he can't do.
But teams aren't paying 4 million per for that. You aren't winning games when you bleed goals all over the place. That's that.
So let me know when you are ready to accept reality of what actually happened and that Dillon bleeds way more goals. That defense isn't about points, and they clearly are not the same.
