IMO the Panthers are right there to being a contending team. If there is a trade out there to bring in a player that can help them right now, could be the best course of action instead of waiting two years for the prospect.

But if they keep the pick and Bolduc or L’heureux are still there, that would be my picks.

You won't draft anywhere close to 20th. You'll be 27th or higher. If everything falls perfectly for the Panthers, they'd still only drop to 25th.

Losing in the 1st round doesn't have an effect on your draft position. The order is drafted from the regular season standings, 4th from the top for the Panthers, with the final 4 teams from the playoffs going 32-29.

Really, I am very jealous of the Panthers D prospects:
Gildon (looks like a stud)
Kiersted
Kolyachonok
Ludvig
Kinnunen (could be a steal of a 7th rounder)
Priskie (who I would love to get on the Leafs)
Juulsen (needs to stay healthy but so much potential)

They should definitely draft me.

Carson Lambos I don’t think will be there... he’s very underrated, and I believe he has top 10 potential. Not saying he will go top 10, but he is one of the best defensive men in the draft in my opinion. With that being said, if Daniil Chayka is there, pick him. He is a very good defence man with great potential! Definitely would be the best option at defence. If you are looking for offence then Zachary L’Heureux, of Aatu Raty would be good choices, again if they are there. Raty has had a down year, but I believe he can still be a great player if he gets the confidence. Zachary L’Heureux is a very good small forward, that can bring some skill and speed to your lines!
