Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

- Let Tatar and Armia walk ---> they don't show up in playoffs.

- Drouin needs to be traded somewhere. The guy is full of talent but can't handle Montreal pressure to perform. We can use 15OA pick for a LW upgrade.

- Not that I don't like Byron, but I think he is too much paid for what he brings. I love his heart and speed but he remains a role player. I think Chiarot and Allen are more precious to the team, Chiarot is a stud for cleaning the front of the net and Allen is a top quality backup for an often injured Price.

PP solutions : quarterback, left shooter, right shooter, size in front of goalie and slot option on both units.

3. Not a fan of losing 3 pieces in the expansion. Just protect Chariot, leave Edmundson and Allen open and let Seattle pick 1.

Edit: also, that Danault contract is about 500k too much. Danault is a great defensive c, but you cant win with him there as top c

1. You're probably right but if we don't overpay, nobody will take Drouin and give us a better LW.
2. This can be see as a starter and try to balance with picks, or we can look for another young puck-moving D elsewhere. This is IMO one of our biggest need.
3. I prefer pay to give Byron or Kulak than losing one of Edmundson, Chiarot or Allen.

It's just a question of time before Suzuki is the top overall c of the team.

The guy I would target is Soderstrom in ARZ. Pretty solid in his own end and an awesome skater. He could form an awesome pair with Norlinder in 2 years. IMO, our futur PP quarterback are Norlinder and Romanov (or Soderstrom in case of a trade).

In terms of value, I think ARZ might consider moving him for MULTIPLE picks and prospects in order to rebuilt their prospect pools (which has suffer a lot in the past 2 years). Perhaps 16th OA, 48th OA and Jayden Struble could do the trick. Soderstrom could step up right away next year and develop alongside Romy. Just a thought

Yeah the two of them are very close. I have to give the edge to Lundkvist in terms of overall production.

This trade is like trading howden for Romanov tho
