If this is your final offer, I wonder how bad the other ones were. This is pretty bad. You can bet good money in the fact that the starter in any deal for Buffalo to consider it will be a top, young prospect (likely a centre). You have let even included a centre in the deal. A second line forward, an overrated defenceman, and a mid round 1st in a very questionable draft wouldn't even be a top 10 offer for Eichel.

Start with Rossi likely (depending how his medical turn out, if not, has to be Eriksson Ek). But in all reality, Minnesota doesn't have the assets to get Eichel and could be outbid by 90% of the teams in the running for him anyways.

Wild would be acquiring someone like Eichel to become true contenders for the cup. It's the one piece we don't have yet. But true cup teams are 3-4 center's deep, 2-3 high-end wingers, good to great defensive core's, average to great goaltending.

JEE may be a lesser player than Eichel, but you don't give up him up when your goal is to contend. Same reason you don’t give up Rossi or Fiala either. Which says nothing about Eichel's injury concerns on top of that.

We have a top ten prospect pool, a plethora of picks, and at least two other prospects with top six center potential beyond just Rossi. Either one of them pakaged with Boldy is ammo enough to start the conversation.
