Clark Bishop a signé un contrat de 1 ans d'une valeur de 800 000 $ avec les Sénateurs d'Ottawa, le 20 mai 2021. Le contrat comporte un cap hit de 800 000 $.
Hell yeah. I've really liked what I've seen from Bishop since he arrived. Been great for Belleville, and was extremely effective as a 4th line C, with pretty good underlying numbers. Plays hard and with pace, he can win faceoffs and be an asset on the PK. I doubt he'll get much of an opportunity to push to be the full time 4C, but I think he can be a really nice 13th forward next year.
Also he looks like Jared Cowen, and I just find that funny.
Definitely a good signing for the Sens. He was a great depth piece here in Carolina and has been even better in Ottawa. He plays hard and I can definitely see him pushing for a bottom 6 role next season if the Sens favor him over some of the young guys. Clark is just an all around great player with a great attitude. Well deserved for him.

It's impressive to see just how many former Canes prospects are proving to be NHL-caliber, both for the Canes and for other teams. Aho, Slavin, Pesce, Foegele, Nedeljkovic, McGinn, Lorentz, and Geekie were all drafted in the second round or below and are either core pieces or valuable above-replacement depth players for the Hurricanes. Nic Roy, Kuokkanen, Luostarinen, Wallmark, and Bishop were all drafted in the second round or below and have all carved out NHL careers for other clubs after being drafted, developed, and then traded by Carolina for win-now pieces. The more that these lower-round guys pan out in such fashion, the more sought-after that our farm becomes when trade deadline season comes around.
I loved Bishop in carolina/charlotte so im glad he is getting a well deserved pay raise. I wish him the best of luck in ottawa and hope to see him play some more games.
