Caulfield has played 10 games, this isn't even close to being true.

LOL

Get serious.. Caufield has scored 4 goals in the NHL.. playing enthused by the hype of his first games. Wait until the fanbase rips into him him lol.

Laine has been bad this year yes.. but he is still much more proven than caufield, has a much more interesting 6'5'' frame and fits in the win now timeline a little bit better.

It's the time to buy low. A few years ago, there is no way we could get him for Drouin + a prospect + capdump.

We have size at the wing, And I rather just keep Caufield rn and see how he produces rather than Trading him for Laine....Not saying I wouldn't do that trade later on but I just would rather see Cafield play more games before trading him

And right now, there's still no way you can get him for that. We're aware that he's at an all-time low, and so don't want to sell low. Unless we get some sort of top-6 "heavy minutes shield" center back (that being our biggest need), there's no good reason for us to trade Laine.

Fair enough. But if contract negotiations are difficult and look to trade him, I bet the house this would be your best offer around the league. You could sign RNH in offseason... especially if Seattle takes Nyquist

I think we've got targets in mind other than RNH.
