they dont have to sign them for this season. if they give them ELCs it wil be for the 2021-22 season starting which is when those contract limit count

example Justin Barrons and Nathan Clurman ELCs start next season but their contracts are not counting against the 49 right now

Agree with @coga16. With Calvert and PEB coming off the books, they don't have to worry about it. And they wouldn't trade Beaucage for futures. If they were going to trade Miner? Idk, maybe a 4th or a 5th? He's done alright, but he's near the bottom of their depth chart at G.

no rush to signing them yet. They will want to make some roster decisions first and with the eagles before they sign more guys. The signing date is being pushed back 1 month I believe, so not till July 1st.

Beaucage will get a ELC, Miner might not just bc the Avs have Miska, Werner, Annunen in teh system and probably want to keep Jonas Johansson. Takes up AHL and ECHL spots. If they get rid of Miska (extended him 2 years so they are XD compliant) then Miner probably gets one

Signing Beaucage would also bump a player to ECHL.
Already got a bunch of unsigned reserved in AHL (Mutlala, Foudy, Burzan)

They only have 25 standard player contracts for next year. A bunch of their AHL level players wont be signed so theres definitely room for prospects to sign

All 4 players that need to be signed by June 1st played for Colorado Eagles of the AHL this season. I'd guess they are all ready to be signed once the season is over...

Some goalie people actually really like Miner. Based on them, he's worth keeping around. Werner may not even be around next year, and Miska is Miska.

Jojo and justus will split the net for the eagles and Peyton Jones and miner will be with the grizzles

Foudy played on an AHL deal because he wouldn’t have played at all but for there being no OHL season. Foudy is getting an ELC and is spending next season in AHL. I would think Mutula would to, don’t think Burzan has a future with the club.

I agree with this, Miner seems to be the flavor of the moment I would assume he gets an AHL offer not a full elc.

At the start of the season there was no way he was getting an ELC, but he has played well and showed well in the AHL when he had that rare chance. I think Avs make room for him. They got into some goalie contract mess this year bc of the injuries.

Who knows, Francouz could be done with Avs moving on from him bc they dont wnat to risk his injury healthy and like what they saw with Jojo as a back up. So that puts Justus and Miner in with the Eagles

I think once the XD is done and they can make plans on where these guys will be playing, you will see more singings
