Holtby and his 500,000 buyout is virtually meaningless, Ferland if he stays on LTIR...totally meaningless.
So it's a top 8 pick and Woo for Cernak.....That seems steep. And the Canucks are forced to carry Johnson (who may not waive for Vancouver) at 5m X 3.
That's a deal Tampa couldn't pass up, and not even Benning would offer.

To much for the Canucks to give up+TB value Cernak really highly it seems. He would be perfect next to Hughes but it doesn't seem realistic . Maybe Cal Foote could be a realistic target though...

I think this team is awesome! Great job, but the Tampa trade is like everyone says... too much given away. Hold onto Ferland, it doesn't matter. Tampa doesn't need or want Holtby. Something else needs to change for that trade.

Also, you will need a better backup than DiPietro...still too fresh for the NHL and sat too much on the Taxi Squad (thanks Benning) but upon injury DiPietro comes in a steals the show.
