I think the NHLPA will recognize that Saros carried his team to the playoffs. No Saros, the Preds are down with the Sabres. I think the Leafs are still a playoff team without Matthews. Albeit significantly worse but may still squeak in

Makar is an incredible talent but I don't think he is better than fox on defense. I think he gets the edge in offense, but with fox's intelligent play, in what I would consider the most difficult division in hockey, playing in all situations, you have to give it to Fox

Absolutely the better player. I just think his injury will hurt him. Maybe I’m wrong. I’ll switch him and Letang for nominees but I doubt he wins without more games
