Hertl has had some injuries and in the last year of his deal but there is no doubt in his capabilities on the ice. Should be a fantastic 2C behind Mika Zibanejad and ahead of Filip Chytil on the depth chart.

Strome is a to help the money work in the trade as well as giving SJ a gap filler for Hertl if needed or another trade chip. Strome having another beefed year nearly hitting PPG. Georgiev is a solid #2 goalie and is relatively young. Could be a nice piece moving forward with SJ looking to revamp their crease. Gauthier is a "cherry on top" type throw-in. Gauthier showed some skill in his limited ice time but due to Quinn's lack of deployment his value plummeted. Could be a solid 3rd liner for SJ.
