Don’t think the bruins want either of those players. They definitely don’t want them in return for debrusk and Frederic. Seems like both guys fill redundant roles.

I though Bruins needed a left D, Scandella is solid but not really worth his contract.

That’s where all their young depth is. Lauzon, zboril, vaakanainen (who has looked good in limited NHL minutes, but either he’s blocked or the bruins want him over cook a bit). Then there’s grzelcyk, and it seems like rielly might be a good fit longer term. Clifton can also play the left side. There’s six. No need. What the bruins could use is a legit top pair left shot D. Scandella sure ain’t that.

Assuming Hall and Krejci back, our top 6 is set for next season. Could use a legit #1LD (although McAvoy and Grz are very good together), but outside of that IDK what major hole Boston would have to fill.

Yeah but I mean, he is replaceable. Mikkola is going to take his spot quickly. Mikkola plays a mean game, I love.him, plus Walman and Perunovich will get a shot. The money is a little too much for Scandella but its the term that is bothering me
