His contract can be fully buried, but he can still play, so in fairness to him he could be traded.

Maroon can be traded to 16 teams starting next year. Perhaps Tampa would rather use his 900k on signing Goodrow to a multi-year deal or someone else. What teams would be interested?

Return isn't important, I'd accept a bag of pucks. I just want to know who might have a use for him?

I disagree with your theory about trading Maroon saves cap. Tampa still has to fill his roster spot,,,which costs about 800,000. So it's 100,000 saving at most and Tampa loses a competent winger.
Gee, any of those 16 teams would like to have Maroon for his play and contract.

No. I said the 900k would go towards Goodrow or someone else Tampa could lock up longer term. It's not about saving cap, more-so reallocating cap.

I think that'd be pushing it, but I just don't want an army of "we're not paying that" descending on this ACGM. I just want to figure out where I could realistically send him in future ACGMs.

Yeah but what happens when you need another player towards the 23 man roster ro replace maroon and the cap maroon took up went to goodrow, you now have 1 less player and still no cap space

I doubt Tampa has a 23 man roster next season. In my scenario with Goodrow, he would fit in a 21 man roster if he's not looking for top dollar. Tampa ran 21 all season this season, and without being in LTIR we'd eventually get to 22 or 23 player rosters if needed.
