The general concept I see is that you aren't trying to make the team better.
Klefbom's status is a monstrous unknown and it's commonly speculated that he'll miss until November at a minimum and could be out until the New Year. I want to know why you're in the market for trading a defencemen who's emerged as a top-pairing guy in the NHL when we have this unknown. There is no certainty that Klefbom returns or how good he'll be when he returns. Nurse should be here for a long time and is looking more and more like the Pronger-lite he was billed as during draft day. He'll be worth his next contract and holds far too much value for the Oilers to move on from him.
Bouchard's emergence on this roster makes Benning unnecessary. I take tremendous pause with him getting another concussion this year. I'd much rather bring back Larsson for 2 or 3 years than a bottom-pairing name that isn't pushing the bill. There's a lot of puck movers on this back end but nobody that's notably proficient at being excellent in their own zone beyond Bear, maybe Kulikov.
Fleury won't be traded to a division rival and Holland isn't going to move on from the first contract he signed for the team after an injury-riddled season for Kassian. He'll be an Oiler next year.
Your bottom six is trash. Benson might carve out a career as a more offensively-gifted 4th line player who can PK but I doubt Marody has any NHL future beyond being a spare forward. Pat Russell is not an NHL player: there's nothing he can do beyond PK at this level. I'd much rather have Archibald who can at least be rotated up and down the lineup. Likewise, Eriksson hasn't been a viable NHL option in like 2 years now. If Edmonton acquires him, it's to bury him in the minors and take a draft asset, not to play him. While you have him as the #7, Kris Russell is also no longer an NHL option. Bring someone in on a league-minimum deal to be a spare instead. The more you take Tippett's toys away from him the more likely it is he optimizes the roster.
My preference is Ullmark over Dreidger: I'm kind of done with Edmonton banking on goalies with less than a total season experience to be their starter and would prefer they invest in something more proven.
