I’d honestly prefer another year of developing , but unfortunately that’s not gonna happen and they’re gonna screw up this team for the next decade and ruin everything they’ve tried to fix the past couple of years.

If I’m Buffalo it’s either Miller and Kappo or Laf and Schneider or Lundkvist, then Chytil, Kratsov, Gieorge, or a 1st. Strome could be added for money terms but then Buffalo would need to add something in a pick/player/prospect.

It doesn’t make sense to me why Buffalo would trade byfield vilardi. That’s a great future 1 2 punch so why get another center. So I don’t see a team stacked with centers trading for Eichel. So Buffalos probably not getting a good center or center prospect

It seems like a match waiting to happen. Your owner wants to make a move like this. What will he offer? My bet is Kappo and some other pieces. If I was a Rangers fan I’m hoping he the Sabres say no because as much as I like Jack I really like what you guys have and I think a smaller move is what you need as Jack and your upcoming contracts will really be challenging

When you trade for a player more valuable than everyone you just listed, you have to make a painful package to make it work.

It's not easy moving those young players. I get that. But you have to realize It's harder for Buffalo to move Eichel let alone not getting anyone of them back.

This is a good take. Eichel’s ability to be the focus of the opposing team makes life easier on teammates and linemates. BUF’s inability to get other players to do anything resembling something good (looking right at Skinner) is shockingly bad. Can you imagine what kind of production he and the wingers the Rangers could produce together?

They don’t see any of those assets as worth anything so it won’t work. They’ll counter with Laf and Fox with like 3 firsts, you know how this goes.

He is a 1st round pick and if it's a big deal add a 2nd or a 3rd. I do think this deal is fair.
