Taking skinner, even with 2 million retained drops the value of eichel by a ton. This is a very large overpay.

Also, guess what? The goaltender with the best save percentage in NHL history will probably be the starter.

Buffalo would have to accept. Skinner @ $7M playing with either Bergeron or Eichel (or a hometown discounted Krejci) would be seriously added value for Boston. But Buffalo doesn't know that. Take out at least 2 pieces from the Boston side based on that alone.

No. A buffalo isn’t trading Eichel to an inner division team.
B it’s a horrible idea to lower Eichels value with a bad contract.
C skinner doesn’t sound like he wants to be anywhere but buffalo and he has full control.
