I've been hard on Ekblad. Before his injury he seemed to be showing why he was taken 1st overall.

Sucks Ho-Sang never really turned out. I really liked him as a prospect.

Maybe not 1OA but in no way is Ekblad a bust

Also, way too soon to call Zadina anything. I've heard some pretty good reports on him from a Wings fan friend of mine.

Why don't you add Kakko to this list? Kakko 40 points in 114 games Zadina 37 points in 86 games. Looks like to me Zadina is doing better then Kakko on the worst scoring team in the NHL. Zadina drafted #6 Kakko drafted #2.

I'd argue it's way too early to pass judgment on Zadina, Puljujarvi, and Bellows.

Pool house in particular has come back to the league with a vengeance, I wouldn't dismiss his chances of hitting his ceiling just yet.

Bellows has made a lot of nice progress of late.

And Zadina has been pretty well sidelined due to injury. Just too early to call that one.

Too soon to call 21-22 year olds busts. And calling Ekblad a bust removes all meaning from the word.

As a former Lightning season ticket Member watching Ekblad calling Ekblad a bust is maybe the most ridiculous statement I've ever read on here.

this is tough, these are the guys who actually made it. there's been picks above these guys in most drafts that haven't even come close to NHL ice

ekblad isnt a bust at all, if hes a bust then so is nico

Tough time calling DeBrusk a bust. He’s had an off year, but he’s produced at a middle 6 forward and at times top 6 forward rate throughout his career. Plus he was drafted 14th overall, not super high.

Also Ekblad is just not even close to a bust.

Jost, Mittlestadt, Perlini, Drouin, Galchenyuk (Griffin Reinhart and Yakupov too)

Guys still on their elc like Zadina have significant run way left before they need to be called busts.

DeBrusk's off now w/ post-COVID etc. but he's paid off when it really matters - playoffs!
He's got key GWG's and one is even a Series Winner!

He has more goals than McDavid, Marner, Eichel, Aho, Rantanen, Barzal, Connor..........................................
