it's kind of my point. I guess I should have explained more...I don't see what else the Habs can do this offseason.. They're up against the cap for the most part, cannot really OS anybody, can't go and get Eichel or Hall or anything. They won't have the money for Armia either. I don't think Mtl can finish in the playoffs next year.

their only add in the offseason should be a top 4 d-man. nothing else. they have poehling ylonen in the system. imo, they'll be better next year than this year. in fact i dont think tatar or danault come back.

Likely not Tatar, but if Danault doesn't come back, I don't see Poehling or Evans or anyone else able to takeover. If the guy wants to chase money elsewhere then by all means, he should be allowed to go lose elsewhere

if the habs want to target a FA in the offseason, its RNH. He can play wing and center. good 2-way forward. can take the load off KK and Suzuki. thats only if danault doesn't resign

RNH would be expensive. A great 2C though IMO. I truly think KK is the problem here. He's not a 2C nor a shutdown 3C at the moment. Habs need to develop him properly FFS. Or else he'll just be a cross between Galchenyuk and Leblanc...

kk needs time. thats why rnh is there. yes he'd be expensive.
