I tried to make a Caps resigning Ovie ACGM and it's harder than fitting Ovie into the Oilers. Surprisingly the buyouts of Neal and Turris isn't too damaging.

At first I was trying to get Ovie to resign with the Caps in an ACGM...and damn that is hard.

The Oilers are actually finally set up to do some damage in the UFA market. I would believe resigning RNH and Larsson would be at the same cap level as their previous cap hit in today's cheaper market. And the Oilers RFA (Kuhan and Yamamoto) would both sign cheap bridge contracts.
