Exactly. If Griess had a .920+ sv% on Detroit he should definitely get consideration. You can't go based off wins. Jarry is tied 3rd in wins, but he isn't a top 10 goalie cause his sv% and GAA is below average

A team can give up a trillion shots from the blue line and boost their goalie's stats. Some teams give up high danger chances and anchor their goalie by your methods of measurement.

You can't just use "good team" as a blanket statement, you need to use more sophisticated measures. Hellebuyck performs like crazy on those. Rask is really good as well. Vasilievsky and Saros are great too. But its lacking of not one, but a few dimensions, when you just umbrella all good teams goalies (except Vasi for some reason) under "their team is too good for them to win", and then you add Grubauer and Fleury from great teams, who are above average goalies by most standards, but not *that* close to the ones I mentioned. I just don't understand your methodology here.

All the other goalies ahead of him are on way better teams. Saros is #1 or top # at the VERY least!!

I thought you said wins dont matter. It goes off of GAA. No one else here thinks hes #1 in the league, just you. I think that kinda biased. Dont say I'm biased because I know Sully wont win Jack Adam's and Crsoby wont win the Selke. I just think they should be in the conversation.
