Wings would be much better off, keeping those young assets, and spending 10m on UFAI(s) than just one 10m Eichel.
Don't know why the Sabres would be against the the trade, getting all those young assets and new found cap.
Yeah you’re correct, I wouldn’t do this trade as I stated in description. But sure is interesting to see how both sides view this idea. It’s a lot of assets in one trade, even if none are of the elite prospect level, 3 firsts easily should have 1 turn elite.

No its crap. I said Berggren is good, but thats it. Including the 3 picks in 2021, this draft sucks and everyone knows it. You have 3 players that couldn't make it in Detroit, 2 of which are dmen that have 0 chance in Buffalo and some unknown kid that may be 4-6 years away from an NHL debut. Picks dont make up value, and the Sabres should be getting as few as possible
At the most it’s 2 players that couldn’t make it in Detroit. If the third is McIsaac well he is a 2018 draft pick 36 overall and has been mostly injured since the draft. But even if he hadn’t been, I would suggest no chance he would have a shot at the NHL yet, Veleno selected 6 spots ahead of him just got his first 5 games as a forward, defence take longer. The other 2 are still relatively young and while they won’t live up to their draft position, it’s early to say they won’t be NHLers. I’m sorry, picks don’t have value in your eyes?
