It’s a real tough one to argue I know. I just think the Oilers make the playoffs regardless in the north because of good play from Smith and Drai and surprisingly enough their back end turning it around mid season. But maybe that’s the McDavid factor.

I just watch Crosby play and am still in awe of his play in both ends of the ice and his ability to make any player with him seem like a top line forward.

If fox wins the Norris in the next 2 years he will definitely command 11 mill on his next contract. A 2-3 year bridge he’ll get at least 7 mill

In fairness, both of those guys have missed a lot of time this year. Frankly, i think the bruins are just nothing without mcavoy. If he was out for the year i don’t think they would have sniffed the playoffs, and it shows with how poorly they played with him out.

Rangers are stacked on the wing and they have a solid D core, but it will be interesting what they do with their centers. I don’t think they should keep Mika or strome - they should do everything possible to trade for a 1C/prospect with 1C potential

Two more seasons like the one he just turned in and 10 million will be a thing of the past. GMs should take advantage of the flat cap to extend players with term now. I’m hoping mcavoy signs 8x10 on July 1.
