I should honestly at the end of the reg season look to see what his point totals were against each team for fun

Against MTL Matthews had 7 goals and 6 assists
Against VAN Matthews had 9 goals and 1 assist
Against CGY Matthews had 5 goals and 4 assists
Against EDM Matthews had 5 goals and 1 assist (but also noted he missed 3 games against them due to Wrist issues)
Against WPG Matthews had 5 goals and 5 assists (but also noted like EDM he missed a game)
Finally
Against OTT Matthews had 9 goals and 7 assists (1 hat trick within the 9 goals)

so in total he played 49 games (missed 4) and has RN 40 goals and 24 assists

Accounting for missed games as a factor Matthews fav team to up against is Ottawa, the one he hates is Calgary. I know he has less points in Edmonton but remember he missed 3 games against them which could have had an influence on his point totals against them (maybe within those 3 games he would have had 2 goals and an assist)

And we got 3 more games left (1 against Mtl, 1 against Ott, and 1 against Wpg) lets see if he adds anymore Goals or Assists.

Well ya, Fred will be the backup, and if Campbell Gets injured or drops 3 in a row, you put fred in. That was my train of thought.

In the playoffs I think Freddie starts Game 1, if he loses than it'll be Campbell, but win or lose I think the Leafs will give both goalies at least 1 game each during the 4 game sweep of the Habs.

Also the Leafs should have ponied up a 5th Rd pick instead of just a 7th for Nash, just to get Clb to retain half the salary so Dubas can avoid that awkward cap cheating scandal when everyone is healthy and cleared to play but the Leafs are leaving them on the IR anyhow.
