Do the Byron trade with Seattle, keep Allen and depending on Price and Primeau's form maybe run 3 goalies

That could also be possible! Byron is a good player, I would keep him if is cap hit was like 1,5 ! But if Allen is staying, Primeau would probably go in Laval!

Think it sort of depends on how Seattle would value Allen. He's probably the best goalie that's going to be available for them, and the price of a 2nd-ish is likely enough to dump Byron to a team, but does that 2nd equal enough value to take a dump and pass on Allen? Just my thoughts...

Not sure Drouin is currently worth his contract, Athanasiou has definitely lived up to his. Teasdale doesn't bridge that difference.

It's not really a "free pick" when they could just take Allen, and trade him away for a 2nd without the cap hit though, right? Plus, you can look at every roster in the league and the vast majority will be lining up to try and shed contracts, and will pay a pretty penny to do so.

His recent injury is and recent slump does not put his value in the plus column, the Kings have ample cap space to take on a free agent with similar or better scoring accumen. But the Kings would revisit this, if he comes back healthy next year and his scoring touch returned.
