The value is fine. I don't know what Blues fan think they're going to get but it wont be more than this trade. If the fit isn't right then that's another matter.

I mean, I think based on D. Toews that's the likely value, or a b-level prospect and a 2nd. For example,if I were the Blues I would ask the Islanders for Wilde and a 2nd.

I see what you're going for here, but Stecher isn't better than Bortuzzo, which means he's one year of a 7th-8th D-man at best. That won't sway the Blues, and I honestly don't think the Wings have the right prospect (that they'd want to give up, that is) to close this deal as constructed.
