We can’t forget about it. What happened was vicious and had no place in today’s game. Period. If we forget about it, it will happen again. Good move by the rangers making the statement as the most valuable team in the league and good on them for getting rid of guys who don’t think the same as the organization. Hockey isn’t just a game, it’s a role model group for many. Good on the rangers, shame on Tom Wilson. Tom Wilson has been punished unjustly before imo because of his past record, but they really missed on this one.

If this is the case, it's an excellent move by ownership.

Wilson went after two of the Rangers' star players with the sole intent to injure: if you can't back your own guys on the ice, you shouldn't be in the front office.

I never really cared for Gorton, but could go either way on him.
I was a big Davidson guy.
However, I'm an even bigger Drury guy.
