You have the 2nd and 3rd pairings swapped. Matheson will probably be back for game 1. Gaudreau is going to be in the lineup ahead of Zohorna. Once again, he is a finesse player despite his size.
If you think the Penguins are going to beat any of the metro teams with size and toughness then you`re clueless. You beat those teams with speed and skill as we have all year. Playing into their game means we lose. Playing smart and not getting away from the Pens game means we win.
Again, if you watched any of the games this year, listened to the coach and players speak and really had any clue how any of this works then you would know that but here we are....
When do we win? We play with speed and skill and use it to have the puck and control the pace of play.
When do we lose? When we let emotions run high and get caught up in scrums and try to act tough. Then teams bully us and we don`t play our game. Its literally been the same story for 10 years.
So do you see why trying to insert a 6 6 European guy who isn`t physical AT ALL to try and change an entire teams identity from speed and skill to rough and tough to try and beat actual teams who are made for rough and tough is just a really, really dumb idea?
Of course you don`t see it but I will continue to point it out to you until maybe one day you will decide to tune in to a game or two and see what I`m talking about.
