it would be a kind of three way trade

MTL can add going to NSH - This trade is based on the fact that Weber might retire soon and the cap recapture could really screw NSH.

NSH and MTL can retain money on Duchene deal before trading him to CBJ... who need a center to play with Laine. Duchene was fine in CBJ.

I'm expecting to get shredded by all fan base - but what do you think of the deals?

Ellis is actually the top four defenseman from NSH that could most plausibly get traded. Not in a proposal where NSH has to take Weber and Drouin mind you, but it's definitely not unthinkable.
