MTL says no, the extra year is the biggest difference. Drouin likely finishes off his contract with the Habs and then either resigns for cheaper or moves on. They maybe move him next trade deadline if they're out of it and he is looking for the same money or a raise on his next contract but I think its a slim chance.

Drouin has virtually no value. He can't stay healthy and the production is awful. No team is giving up anything for that. As it stands right now it's a bad contract. It's not like it's been 1 year. it's been 2, and he's clearly way off track.

ZAR to seattle wouldn't be a huge surprise, but I don't see it happening. I think he's gonna have some issues. The production vs the value there is gonna make for some interesting contract talks. I don't think he's worth what he can get. He is arbitration eligible. For that reason I think his time as a pen is done. Do I think Seattle wants in on that mess. Nope, no I don't.
But he'll be traded out is my guess.
Ceci will get paid. There are too many teams in need of defense for Ceci not to get more.

Yeah, Drouin does a very decent job on LTIR.

So he'll fit in perfectly with the Pens.
