Description
These are who my top 3 would be, not necessarily what I think is going to happen.

Of course this is a hot and subjective topic, so feel free to counter (except for the Hart...I think of you're thinking someone else for that you're just a hater who's letting their feelings blind you)

Made me sad not to add Josh Norris to the Calder top 3, but I do think he'll make the all rookie team. Also MUCH love to the Pelech/Pulock duo, who if they could win the Norris together might do so, if Girard/Makar didn't. Finally, Hellebuyck would've been a runner-up but his last two weeks have been ROUGH - not all his fault but Saros should pass him. Fleury, too, will fall on the ballot as Lehner gets more starts.

I put Toews and Lundqvist on my Masterton ballot even if they don't come back and don't play at all, purely because they are trying to. I also might be missing some good stories (Chara could also make it for longevity)

I would legit love there to be a Norris duo trophy. That'd be amazing. Best forward line too.

Hedman for the Norris. Hintz for the Byng is a great pick, I never thought of him.

Hedman is the obvious conventional pick, but his underlying numbers have actually been terrible for the past 4-6 weeks. Lots of people think it might be because he's playing injured, but there are at least 10 defencemen who have been competitive and productive offensively while being better defensively (Hamilton, Fox, Theodore, Makar, Toews, Girard are a few).

I think Hedman is a world-class player, but I don't think he deserves it more than some other defencemen this year

Campbell, Marleau and Lindbolm should be the finalists, and knowing the NHL it probably goes to Marleau for braking the games played record, though personally I’d give it to Lindbolm for coming back from bone cancer.


I love Jack Campbell and he's a huge part of Toronto now, but overcoming cancer is another level so I'd agree. Masterson almost always leans towards players persevering illnesses.

Lindbolm was nominated last year, maybe that has an effect on a re-nomination

BrindAmour will win the Jack Adams, especially if the Canes win the central. And for the Selke, I would definitely nominate Jordan Staal. He has been so good defensively as well as scoring a lot.
