I don't think the Avs will only carry 20 players... need to add 3 more to fill the normal roster. No taxi squad next year. That'll cost 2-3M. Not sure where they'll find that money cause I think your salaries are pretty accurate to what they'll command. Might be able to get Makar for 8M. Be lucky to get Landeskog for 7M.

If they have to pick one position to sacrifice, I wonder if it's Grubauer? If Francouz is healthy and Dubnyk plays well down the stretch, maybe that's where they save their money. If they win the cup this year, there's no way they'll be able to sign all 3.

Word out there is that the Avs are looking to perhaps trade a forward. I can see that being someone like JTC or Donskoi. Avs are going to have to get cheaper so shedding a contract like that is a good idea.
