Reasonable value, but I don't think the Kings would be willing to give up Bjornfot. Swap him out for someone not named Byfield, Turcotte, Anderson, or Petersen and I think the Kings would go for it.

Buffalo would want one of Turcotte or Byfield. Based on LA loving Byfield (and Kaliyev), I dont see Byfield being traded or Kaliyev. They're also short on defensive prospects so Bjornfoot probably isn't likely.

Turcotte, JAD, Durzi, 2021 first, and 3rd.

Sabres are trading a top 5 Center in the NHL, if the kings aren't willing to give up what I said, then they should fold.

I wouldn't see BUF trading Jack without either Byfield or Turcotte in the return.

The problem isn't that LA wouldn't take this, because they sure as hell would. The problem is what's going to Buffalo inn exchange for Eichel.

I'm sure they would fold pretty quickly. It's smarter on their part to let their young guys develop.

When did Eichel's value drop so much? Trading a franchise centre and not even getting the other team's top prospect or even 2nd top prospect...

In any trade you have to give in order to get. Buffalo is still in position to demand what they want in return for Jack Eichel if he is being traded. You either meet the demand or he does not get moved. Currently Jack Eichel has not demanded a trade, and even if he were going to he would have to know that it will take time for any deal to materialize. I wouldn’t expect him to be traded before the start of the next season, and if the team actually plays well why would he want to leave?

If the Sabres are willing to take Berglund, Sobotka, a 1st and 2nd for ROR they should fold.

Top 5 center with 0 playoff games. If Sabres are willing to trade him, not many top 5 centers get traded, not sure I'm willing to unload top prospects for him...

    He's not a top 5 center.
McDavid, Draisatl, Crosby, Matthews, Bergeron, MacKinnon, Barkov and you could even make an argument for O'Reilly are better than him. When Eichel is on his game, he's fantastic. He's not always on his game though.

Perfectly said. At a certain level a team is better off with top prospects on elcs than one guy. LAK has a level. Once the Sabres ask for more they walk away....

You could argue he’s not top 5, but I don’t think you would say he’s not top 10. Bergeron is getting older, and is closer to retirement than his prime. Jack Eichel is in his prime right now when he is healthy. Matthews has inflated numbers this season playing against decidedly lesser competition, I wouldn’t necessarily say he’s better than Jack Eichel when he’s healthy. Jack Eichel was in the top 10 of MVP voting last season, and I thought a defenseman I was also on that list.

Eichel is better than Bergeron and barkov. Eichel was on pace for 40 Goals and 95 points last year had COVID not shortened the season, wake up. Eichel is always on his game when HEALTHY. Smarten up kid don't make me put you on blast again

That still seems like a lot for a guy with 0 playoff games 0 personal awards 0 accomplishments at the nhl level. I get it he’s good but people gotta stop calling him a top centre in the league until he actually accomplished something to justify it. A good player can look like a superstar when he’s surrounded by garbage cans that doesn’t make him a superstar.

This is probably the type of package that you could get Eichel out of Buffalo for. From LAs perspective though, would rather take the balanced approach that 3 high end prospects and a 1st round pick help your team more than 1 player.

Lol give me Barkov over Eichel any day and twice on Sunday. Again, Eichel when on his game is very good. He's not always on his game though. There are games he just doesn't care(and why wouldn't he, he plays for Buffalo). Bergeron is also a much more complete player. If not for his age, I'd take Bergeron if I were building a team. I like Eichel, but let's no kid ourselves. He's not top 5.

He’s good top 10 not top 5. McDavid, MacKinnon and Crosby definitely better, most would take Matthews, Draisitl and Barkov ahead of him as well. But you are right about LA and for that matter the Rangers pay up or fold BUF isn’t giving any discounts on an Eichel trade.

Draisiatl splits time at Center and on McDavids wing. The correct order is:

    McDavid
    Crosby
    Mackinnon
    Matthews
    Eichel
    Ten other players
    Then Barkov

That’s your opinion, shot share and metrics say different. Like for me I’m taking MacKinnon over McDavid solely because of how MacKinnon has dominated in the playoffs. Doesn’t make me right, doesn’t make me wrong but people do agree with me.

@Chopper02's offer is the maximum that LA should offer (except that I would substitute LD Kale Clague for Durzi and make the third our 2022). Otherwise, as noted by several commenters, the Kings are better off keeping their multiplicity of prospects.
