The main theme here is sticking with a the same roster for years to come. This probably means passing on resigning Perron if the cap is not adjusted significantly enough to fill in the raises coming to Parayko and the RFAs. When Perron leaves bump up Kyrou and bring in Neighbors or Alexandrov. I think in this draft we need to go after two players, Scott Morrow or Roman Schmidt. Both are capable of filling Bortuzzo's shoes once his contract his up. By the time the next wave of players who would need to get raises (Vladdy, Ryan and Oskar) the cap would probably be in the 85-88 range. We would have a pretty good idea if Vladdy has returned to the player he has been his entire career. Should he not be able to recover the form I'd bet we don't resign him.
