Your probably gonna get torn up for that chytil trade. NYR is very high on him.

And we probably need to sign an older more established center. Danault makes too much sense.

I actually don't hate that Ducks trade. I feel like it's pretty much a given that he'll end up testing FA to try to get to a bigger market, so the Ducks can try to squeeze him for all that he's worth offensively during the season, and then flip him at the deadline.

I agree NYR would not accept this trade. I like Danault as a 2C option but it depends on the next Head coach IMO. For example, if Jarmo hires Claude Julien it would be a hard no.

Do you think Danault will not be effective under a different coach? I’m just curious where your coming from. We need a defensively responsible center who can distribute the puck as an effective nhl forward. Winning a face off would be nice as well but beggars can’t be choosers.

The Domi trade only works if we manage to make that Chytil trade happen (or sign Danault, or similar). Otherwise, we're making our already problematic center depth worse, which is a Bad Idea.
