I would put Heiskanen over Provorov

Needed someone more defensively oriented to play with makar. Can’t be all offense back there.

Heiskanen plays more of a two way game (that’s why he doesn’t have a lot of points).

Heiskanen, Girard over Provorov, Chychrun (7th D). Blackwood, Hart, Georgiev for the G. Hart has had a one bad year.

I was gonna say G would be the only question mark. Theres some guys that could slot in for D (Heiskanen), but you went with your personal preference which is all good. Just not a ton of experience with Knight in goal... Forward group is nails though, Pettersson/Barzal could be in the mix but i can see you going with Cirelli if youre building the team looking for a more defensive checking 4th line.

Ya, but hart has been so bad. Goaltending is mental. Who knows if he rebounds. No interest in that gamble.

Chychrun is nasty.
As mentioned, I think makar would benefit from having a more defensively oriented d partner. I think provorov is the right pick, even if he isn’t the best player.

That was basically my thought process with the forwards. Pettersson and barzal are guys that need pp time, and they’re not getting it on this team. Need some guys to take checking assignments. A cirelli tkachuk tkachuk line would be miserable to play against
