Yes his rookie season hasn't been as overwhelming as we thought but hes only 19 get 13 mins of ice time, and not even close to the prime of his career yet. He was chosen #1 for a reason

i dont think suzuki will be top 20, caufield hasnt even played a game yet but i think he has the potential to be close if not in the top 20 and i just did players that a currently in the nhl not predraft players

Byfield might not be that player right now, but wasn't he drafted based off of his potential down the road? I know pundits were saying that Byfield has the potential to be the best player in the 2020 draft, but Lafreniere is the better player now. So wouldn't that have Byfield on this list?

I would strongly think Shane Wright and/or Brad Lambert will be in the mix, certainly within the next 6-7 years. Same with Bedard

Eliminating any players over 30 is a little ridiculous. This list has left off Panarin, Stone, Kucherov and Point because they will be 31-33

I don't think Kucherov and Panarin are going to see that level of decline over the next 5 years. Point's production might not last into his 30s, but we'll see.

I don't know if this takes in players that haven't been drafted into account but if it does then shane wright is top 10/5 and connor bedard and matvei michkov both top 15/10.

I don’t understand why eichel gets soo much praise by fans. Even hall was able to put jersey on his back and win an mvp award has eichel even came close to earning a spot in that conversation. Personally I don’t think there is any merit behind including him in any conversation until accomplishes something. Buffalo fans I truly don’t mean to rip on him just expect more out of someone for this type of conversation.
