Kreider and Trouba are going to be around for the next 3 Seasons until their Modified NTC's kick in.

No real chance of moving them until then.

Not close to getting Eichel for that
Even with Lafreniere as the main piece it would be tough,
because:
- neither are Centers
- neither are producing that much offense

***and all those secondary pieces just aren’t gonna cut it,
not for a guy of Eichel’s caliber

i dont think the pens deal mccann he's been a reliable force on both ends this year and he's fairly young

Buffalo fans will be disappointed if Eichel is traded.

Eakin, Cody
for
Kakko, Kaapo
Strome, Ryan
2021 1st round pick (NYR)
2022 1st round pick (NYR)

Why would the Sabres not make just trade Tokarski for Holtby and a second?

Little to no interest in Strome, he’s a secondary type player at best
He’s 28, so doesn’t fit a “rebuild timeline” for us if we trade Eichel
And he’s only got ONE year left after this till he’s UFA

He just isn’t a piece we should want included in an Eichel deal

If if Eichel is traded, the return will be much less than his value.
My opening sentence was not clear, I should have said "Buffalo fans will be disappointed >>with the return<< if Eichel is traded."
Borgen and Bryson (he gets more SHTOI than any Defenseman now) are playing well.
Maybe Pilut could be lured back now that Krueger is gone.
I hope McCabe will decide to stay a Sabre.
While Boston out played Buffalo yesterday Mittelstadt with Asplund and Thompson was the Sabres best line.
Put Skinner back with Eichel and Reinhart.
Line up Ruotsalainen and Bjork with Cozens.
Girgensons Eakin (I hate typing his name when Larsson was not even offered a deal) and Okposo
Next year could very interesting, now that Granato has the players utilizing their strength.
But the GK is a HUGE question mark.
