Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Here's my hot take on what the Canada team could look like next year (if the Olympics even happen). I've included a bunch of depth to account for training camp and for some personal leeway (cheating if you will).

A lot of the positioning is also dynamic because there are so many centers, so a lot of it will come down to fit with teammates. I've seen this first line in a lot of projections because of how unbelievably fast AND talented it would be. I also REALLY want to include Bergeron, but am having a hard time slotting him in anywhere in the starting lineup when I think some others at this point will earn it first - he would get veteran's advantage, but if they go with younger and faster, he might miss out.

Some honourable mentions (some were hard, some were positional/fit choices, some were just personal opinion)
F: Giroux, Perron, Hyman, Konecny, Gallagher, Monahan, Reinhart
D: Pulock, Giordano, Dumba, Ekblad, Barrie, Fowler, Doughty (I mean come on he shouldn't be on the team)
G: Talbot, Binnington, Driedger, Bishop (maybe depending on post-injury performance)

I know people will freak out about this - and that's your prerogative - and to some extent this is just my idea based on development for young players, accounting for possible regression for vets, guessing at a younger focus for the team, etc. But I did do a lot of research, and looked at projections made by a bunch of different professionals.

Also as a disclaimer, the Goalies are NOT IN ORDER - our goalie situation is so up in the air I have no idea who the three will be. Some people do think Binnington will be in there but I wouldn't trust him plus he's pyscho. I think Blackwood will be way better as his team improves.
