Imo Draisaitl is top 3 (McDavid, Mac, and Leon). I actually think Saros has been very underrated this season too. I could make a valid argument for him being top 5 (maybe 3) considering the stats he's putting up on a team thats just okay. I do think Brady T is a little high though, as well as Chabot, both are really good just not as good as some others imo.

Lol fair enough. I was looking at LW though and its certainly a weaker position overall. You could debate putting people like Ehlers, Guentzel, or Pacioretty. I guess I was looking at overall game impact and yes I was probably leaning too high on his potential. I do think he'll be as good if not better than those three for sure. I do think Chabot belongs there if he was on a better team he'd be so much better. I do agree with you on Saros I almost added him but he's still streaky and has yet to put in a full season in comparison to someone like Lehner. I also think the Centers are interchangeable. I think Matthews is better defensively than Leon and Crosby has just been so good this season it was hard not to put him higher.

Meh yeah I see what you're saying and used to be in that camp, but he has been objectively worse than he was, and I still don't think he's better than the 5 there. Maybe 2 years ago Gibson but not now

The way I look at these kinda of lists is who would teams want on their current deal one for one. Grubauer is having a great year but don’t think for a moment that if the trade were Grubauer for Gibson that the Avs, Lighting and VGK wouldn’t do that in a heartbeat.

So Girard scores more and has significantly better shot metrics, and is legitimately in the Norris Conversation (he won’t win it though) and Girard averages a minute more TOI, so how exactly is Sergachev better than Girard?

I'd take Girard over Chabot as of rn also I think there are better LW in the league then Tkachuk (Guentzel, Landeskog, Connor). Perhaps a little sens fan bias but most ppl are bias towards players on their favorite team so understandable.
