As much as I love Fleury, and am ecstatic about how well he's done this year, trading a 1st for 1 year of a 37 year goalie is a bad, bad idea, especially when your own tandem has played pretty solid hockey.

Cody Glass still being in the AHL is not a great thing if he is to be a center piece.

Not a Pittsburgh or Vegas fan. I'd change the Vegas offer to the below. Vegas get a top 5 C and Buffalo gets multiple tools for their rebuild plus a guy they can drop into their line up. Vegas can make Stephenson their 2C.

glass, krebs and tuch plus a 1 is a good offer. i’m still a believer in glass. like mittelstadt, he just needs time. way too talented not to make an impact. and with cozens and mittelstadt emerging I think glass could be a winger and have success at the NHL while still developing. tuch is a prototype power forward just entering his prime and a guy that is tough to play against during the course of a playoff series. if i’m the GM I still don’t trade eichel though. the only deal i would accept for him would be a price no GM would be willing to pay. that and if i’m Buffalo any eichel trade includes eating skinner’s contract. No GM wants that.

Glass could develop into another Mittelstadt a good 2nd 3rd line center.
Krebs appears to be on a path to the NHL.
Tuch is certainly a great RW and would give the Sabres solid depth at RW.
The first is window dressing as it would be nearly a second.
IMO that would be an offer that is hard to refuse.

Karlsson, Krebs, Glass, 2021 1st and 2022 1st would be impossible to refuse.
A center signed to a decent contract for the next 5 years to take Jacks spot and four additional good pieces.
