Going to be a battle between Nashville, Chicago, and Dallas for sure. Nashville v Chicago 3 game series starting tomorrow will tell us a lot

Thought I saw somewhere Seguin was skating again. If/when he returns that would be a huge boost and could make them a scary playoff matchup.

I had actually posted something at the beginning of the season but capfriendly deleted it. Asking if the playoffs were already set at like 15-20 games in the season.

DAL had made the whole thing a mess because of their lack of games, It was the only division you could look at and not tell who would finish on bottom.

But you look at it from the beginning of the season. The Metro 3 of 4 teams easily predicatable.
NYI or PHL. PHL blew it.
North, 4 of teams
all easily predictable.
Central 3 of 4 teams.
DAL was the wild card throwing everything out of order. CHI had a spot, but You could look at it and tell there was going to be a fight here and at the time I predicted DAL probably gets it.
West 3 of 4 teams
where AZ and STL battling. I think I predicted STL here as well.

But out of 16 playoff spots. Only 3 were really up for grabs all year.

The kids a stud, definitely the runner up for the Calder at this point. No ones taking that away from the Thrill though.

That's a pretty good deal on Orlov. Dallas won't have to wait until the last second to see if they make the playoffs when they have four top-pairing defensemen next year. And for just a 2nd round pick? Wow.
