Hall Extension

Description
Tell me what ya think. I’d like to sign a high end LD UFA but there are none. I’d like to trade for one but I’m not sure if one would be made available in the offseason. Hampus Lindholm might be had at the TDL but he might get extended, for example.
I like the DeBrusk trade especially if he does not light it up in the playoffs. Hall basically stole his spot.
Rask can play for another 3 years while Swayman develops in the backup role. He will still play approximately 30 games a season.
I really like Oleksiak because he will help take the physical burden off of Miller and Carlo especially since they’ve had injury issues.

Pull up some lame ass stat like 8th in the PK to show he's good 'defensively' LOL. You still haven't provided any concrete evidence to show JD is better than RR.

You should have probably checked your facts before making that first statement. That's what educated people do, they don't draw on their own opinions, they use FACTS

See you see value as just the player. I look at age and team control when thinking about value....which was my what my first post said tears of joy

Ya I use individual stats per 60's, not team stats as I find individual/60 is a better indicator of a player performance. A guy can have great team numbers even though he doesn't have much impact on the play.

Seem to be implying that he's better player than RR

you only value the individual and FAIL to look at the value he brings to his TEAM.
I value EVERY ASPECT of what a player brings to himself and the team

Outside of the 2011 comment what other things have I said to warrant an infraction?

Rakell is a UFA at the end of next season. DeBrusk is much younger with term and team control. It’s easily a win win for the Ducks. Unless Anaheim wants to extend but word around the campfire is they are trying to get younger. This deal does that.

DeBrusk is much younger and under team control. That's why I would like to keep him.

Rakell has move trade value than Debrusk.

We’ll see how Hall does and how he fits in.

Would not be surprised at all if they make a big push for Eichel at the draft. If it succeeds they let Hall walk.

Would love to have Eichel but just don't see it on many levels. What is your insight?

Don’t think it happens, but i think they try. Buffalo would be very hesitant to trade him within division and other teams have better pieces to make the deal. Odds are incredibly slim.

You are right, odds are incredibly thin. Within division and other teams pieces were two of my levels. Acquiring Hall was Boston's move to try and stay relevant. If it continues to work out like so far and he will sign a reasonable extension it will be well done by Sweeney. He was able to keep Beecher, Studnicka and Vaak who can hopefully step in next as well as future firsts. If Swayman is the real thing then its the best of both worlds. Competitive now and guarded optimism for future.
